Brad Sugars is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of the world’s leading business coaching brand ActionCoach.
Before starting the company in his twenties, Brad ran and operated many different businesses often buying, building and selling them for a profit. This early experience taught him two things. Business owners need help in their business and the ways in which businesses become more profitable is fundamentally the same, no matter what industry the business is in.
It was these two very important realizations that prompted Brad to start ActionCoach, which was known at the time as Action International – a business coaching company.
In order to grow the company, and based on demand from his business coaching clients (and those on his wait list), Brad Sugars started touring the Asia Pacific region giving business building seminars.
At the time, most business speakers were two or three times Brad’s age. It was during these times that Brad was given the nickname of the “Turnaround Kid”. His passion coupled with practical know-how meant that he soon gathered a cult-like following presenting to packed audiences. Brad’s seminars however did not impress everyone. He was a self-made millionaire and at times the media tried to discredit him and twist his words.
One such incident involved Brad speaking about finding property deals. Many Australian farmers, many of who are the biggest property owners and investors in the country, were looking at selling their city properties in order to raise cash for their drought-stricken properties. Brad told his audience that there are many great deals at the moment like farmers needing to sell some of their assets quickly. A writer, who interestingly enough also presented property seminars, started a propaganda campaign saying Brad Sugars was promoting ripping-off Aussie farmers.
As Brad’s audiences grew along with demand for one on one coaching, Brad started employing coaches. He developed a training program and system on not only how to successfully coach a business but also how to build a business coaching business.
Today the company coaches around 15,000 business every week and operates in 26 countries.

Today Brad Sugars is in his late thirties, is married with two children. He currently resides in Las Vegas.
