Joe Torre
Joe Torre, one of the most respected leaders in the history of professional sports, has guided the New York Yankees to twelve straight playoff appearances, including 10 American League East titles and Four World Series Championships. The future Hall of Famer, was named the American League Manager of the Year in 1996 and 1998. Joe Torre has lead the Yankees to an impressive 1,173-767 record over his twelve seasons at the helm of baseball’s most storied franchise. With 2,067 wins, Torre ranks as the 8th winningest manager in the history of baseball.

Joe Paterno
Successful, Stubborn and highly principled, this Brooklyn native has been head coach of the Nittany Lions for a staggering 42 years, making him the longest-serving head coach in the history of college football. Even more remarkable is the often-forgotten fact that Paterno was a Penn State assistant for 15 years before taking the top job. In other words, he’s been coaching football in Happy Valley, either as an assistant or as head coach, since 1950.
