How to find a coach

When you are shopping around for a coach – you need to feel comfortable working with and opening up to the coach. He or she has to be someone who will challenge you and is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals.

Be prepared for a vigorous interview by your coach.

A coach’s reputation is based on the results they achieve with their clients. If you do not seem 100% committed to achieving your goals – then they may decide not to work with you.

In fact – if your coach does not interview you upfront before the coaching begins – then you have to question the intentions and outcomes that this coach can achieve with you.

Don’t always look for someone that will become your new best friend. If our friends made great coaches than the industry wouldn’t be the second fastest growing on the planet.

Your coach should be disciplined, clear and forthright with you.

You should enjoy your time with your coach, but every session should be challenging with clear outcomes.

The coach should set goal milestones whether it be personal or profit base and be equally committed to you achieving your goals.

In business, do not look for specialists in your area. Business is business. Bringing in someone with extensive industry experience could mean that you have hired a consultant.

Make sure your coach is accredited by a reputable firm.
